Secure-the-building modes have been lifted at both Nokesville Elementary School and Brentsville District High School. All students and staff are safe. The secure-the-building protocol was implemented briefly during police activity in the area. |

Open Gym Dates for Summer 2011

Open gym is open to any girl who is interested in playing volleyball at Brentsville for the school year 2011-2012. You do not need volleyball experience. Just come out and give it a try. You will need to fill out an blue emergency card to participate in open gym. I will have some with me if you need one. I will also have physical forms. Physicals need to be done asap!
This coming season will have new challenges as our school goes from almost 1700 students to only around the current estimate of 850.
NEW REQUIREMENT FOR TRYOUTS! PARENTS AND PLAYERS MUST ATTEND COUNTY MANDATED CONCUSSION TRAINING BEFORE A PLAYER MAY TRYOUT FOR ANY SPORTS TEAM!!!! Please attend one of the following training sessions BEFORE tryouts.

No tryouts on Tuesday, August 2nd (Coaches have mandatory training)
Wednesday, August 3rd 2:00-5:00
Thursday, August 4th 2:00-5:00
The teams will be announced after tryouts on Thursday, August 4th. If you make the team there will be practice on Friday, August 5th (TBD).
You must have a current physical on file to try out for any sports team. If you have one from this school year, 2010-2011, it will not be good for the 2011-2012 school year. You must have a new one before tryouts!
